Members of ARRCC - the Rye and Folkestone Centres for people living with physical/sensory impairments have recently made two intrepid trips into the sixth continent (aka Romney Marsh). Their mission?
To collect sights, sounds and impressions of the area for Into the Sixth Continent, a multi-media celebration of Romney Marsh, featuring a mini-oratorio created by members of ARRCC with composer John Webb and writer Roy Apps. This is be a pilot for a much larger work planned for 2014.
Into the Sixth Continent is a Rye Festival Plus event featuring words, music, photographs and sheep and is at The School Creative Centre on Saturday 22nd September at 3.00pm. Admission Free.
