Ryesing Stars - Festival Promotes Young Musicians

This year, in cooperation with the Worshipful Company of Musicians, we are delighted to announce the introduction of a series of concerts promoting the talents of exceptional young musicians who are making their mark on the national and international stage.

These concerts will be promoted under the banner of Ryesing Stars and will coincide with the introduction of two lunchtime recitals which will be held for the first time in the delightful church of St. Antonys in Watchbell Street.

The first of these recitals will feature the outstanding young baritone Duncan Rock on Monday 17th September. On Thursday 27th September the guitarist Manus Noble will perform pieces especially composed by him as well as established pieces from the instrumental repertoire.  On Wednesday 19th September Pure Brass will perform at Iden Church.

The Festival is grateful to the Worshipful Company of Musicians for their invaluable support in putting on these concerts.  For booking dates, see Rye Arts Festival website
