The series of classical music concerts on the Marsh organised annually by the charity Jam finishes this weekend with two concerts; Friday 12th July at All Saints Church Lydd and Saturday 13th July at ST Mary in the Marsh.
On Friday at 7.30pm , the Mousai singers, conducted by Daniel Cook perform Faure's Requiem in Lydd. And on Saturday at the same time Michal Rogalski on oboe and tenor Adam Sullivan join the Heron Quartet (students from the Guildhall School of Music) to give a concert featuring Beethoven, Mozart, Holst and Britten.
Tickets for Friday are £15 and £10, while students pay just £5 on the door and under 18s get in free. On Saturday the tickets are just £10, with studentys again a fiver on the dorr and under 18s free entry.
